My wife and I went to Maggiano’s this weekend to enjoy their gluten free menu options. Everything was great! The staff was very helpful in letting us know what we could order on the menu and even helped us change some menu items around to be gluten free. They can substitute Corn fusilli in any of their non-stuffed pasta dishes or they can create a customized meal just for you! We had the new gilled artichoke without the bread crumbs and it was fantastic. Thanks to everyone at Maggiano’s for a great evening!
the Pfunky Griddle
While normally I stay away from people who use an image of wheat in their logo, we took the nephews to the Pfunky Griddle last weekend on Bransford Avenue. The restaurant is a cute place where people cook their own breakfast on a griddle built into your table. The nephews, 4 and 12, had a great time experiencing that. They have a gluten free pancake mix that was really good and all you can eat for $6.99 adults, kids 10 and under are $4.99. Of course to avoid cross contamination everyone at your table has to eat gluten free, but when you’re buying for the nephews, they can eat what you get

Gluten free pizza in the Nashville area
I read online that Matteo’s Pizzeria in Brentwood offers a gluten free pizza! I haven’t tried it yet but looking forward to it. Had a pizza this weekend in Cincinnati at Donatos, was kind of a let down. Lou Malnati’s in Chicago is the best that I have had so far, just a shame they didn’t offer the gluten free beer!
