I am starting the gluten-free diet again and was searching for places to eat in Nashville. I found a new place that just opened up 3 weeks ago. One of the nurses told me about it at my doctor's office. It is absolutely wonderful. It is called A Matter of Taste and it is located at 2401 B Franklin Road, Nashville, TN. It is the best gluten-free food I've ever tasted. I was on the gluten-free diet for awhile and was having a hard time adjusting to it. I think this restaurant is going to keep me on my diet this time. They will even bake bread for you if you call 24 hours in advance or make brownies, cookies, etc. Everything on their menu is gluten-free. You have to tell them if you don't want it gluten-free. They use seperate utensils to cook and bake their food . . .they keep everything seperated. I took a friend with me . . she hadn't had a sandwich in years because she doesn't like the gluten-free products out there. She thought she had died and gone to heaven.

Gluten Free Beer at 2 places in Nashville...

At the beginning of College Football season, I asked 2 bars in Nashville to order Red Bridge Beer (a gluten free beer from Anheuser Busch). They were awesome and ordered not just 1 case, but multiple cases.

So, if you are wanting to drink beer while at a bar in Nashville, check out the Frayed Knot (www.frayedknotnashville.com) and Bailey's Pub and Grille (www.foxandhound.com/locations/nashville-broadway.aspx).
