Watanabe Sushi

Watanabe in East Nashville on McGavock is most favorite sushi restaurant around. The staff will help make any roll gluten free and are great to work with. One of my favorite reasons for going is that all of their rolls that contain crab use real crab meat instead of fake crab meat that can contain gluten elements. Plus it just tastes so much better than the fake stuff! The green goddess roll is my favorite, without the tempura flakes of course ;-) Also just ask, they normally have a gluten free soy sauce available.

Tell Evan I said hello!

the Wild Cow

Last week we finally tried the Wild Cow over in east Nashville. They are a vegetarian restaurant that also has gluten free options (see gluten free menu here). I had a portabella mushroom sandwich and all I can say is wow! Don’t know which gluten free bread that they used but it was the best that I have had. I had a quinoa side that was also nice. I recommend trying it if you get. Chance!

Updated: The bread they use is from Aunt April’s Bakery and it rocks!

Great Dinner at Rumors East

Met some friends last night at Rumors East. Our waitress and kitchen staff was very helpful in letting me know what I can and can’t have. I was surprised to see that most of what was on their menu was safe and they have a great wine list. I highly recommend checking them out!
