Last week we finally tried the Wild Cow over in east Nashville. They are a vegetarian restaurant that also has gluten free options (see gluten free menu here). I had a portabella mushroom sandwich and all I can say is wow! Don’t know which gluten free bread that they used but it was the best that I have had. I had a quinoa side that was also nice. I recommend trying it if you get. Chance!

Just wanted to let you know. The bread at The Wild Cow comes from Aunt April’s Bakery. Next time you go you MUST try the chocolate heaven cake. They also have a lemon bundt cake. Both are gluten/soy free and vegan!
I just discovered the Wild Cow myself and had an amazing sandwich on gf bread as well as their quinoa salad. YUM! I DO know who makes their gf bread. I just blogged on it last week:

Nice to “meet” you!
I was pleasantly surprised by their bread and their chococlate heaven cake! Having recently moved from the Atlanta area where there is a plethora of gluten-free restaurant options (that are not chain restaurants), I was so very pleased to be able to taste a high-quality gluten-free baked good. The bread was so good that I had to ask the guy to make sure that it was DEFINITELY gluten-free! Wild Cow!
