Gluten free banana waffles

So I’ve had them in the freezer for months. My wife wanted to reclaim the freezer space since I wasn’t eating them. Whenever I go grocery shopping if I see something new and gluten free, I buy it, if I like it or not. I was never a huge fan of waffles before being gluten free but I had to buy them. 2 months later… I wish I tried them earlier. Gluten free banana waffles from Trader Joe’s ROCK!

We just opened a bakery/cafe on 8th Ave South called FiddleCakes. I tried to find an email for you, but was unable to. I wanted to let you know that we have vegan and gluten-free options. We are a bakery first and foremost and can accommodate any request. We also offer lunch options: salads, soups, and salads. We do offer gluten free options for lunch as well. We are in the process of making gluten-free bread, but in the meantime do have gluten-free bread available for sandwiches. We would love for you to come visit us.

    Thanks!

I couldn’t figure out how to email either. This is just to say that Ruby Tuesday’s now has a gf menu, mostly recommending the salad bar, which is what we go there for anyway. And that California Pizza Kitchen (branch on 21st) has next to nothing. Here’s the corporate response to my query:
Thank you for your inquiry and interest in California Pizza Kitchen.

“The majority of menu items served at California Pizza Kitchen contain gluten. In addition, the majority of our Salad Dressings also contain gluten. It would be safe for you to order the Field Greens Salad with Gorgonzola, the Grilled Vegetable Salad, House Salad with no croutons or Steamed Vegetables. The Dijon Balsamic Vinaigrette salad dressing does not contain gluten and would be an acceptable option as a salad dressing. Olive Oil is also available upon request. If you have specific questions, please ask your server when you place your order

As California Pizza Kitchen serves many items that do contain gluten, please be aware that it is not possible to guarantee that cross contamination will not occur.”

    FiddleCakes looks promising!
